Agnieszka Rożnowska she is an independent visual artist, graphic designer, educator, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts.

In her work she addresses the issue of interpersonal relations, people’s dependence on space and their in the times of chaos and mass consumption. She usually presents her intellectual reflections in cycles, with no restrictions as to medium or technique. She has held a number of solo and group exhibitions, including international ones.

Since 2010, she has been the head of the Drawing Studio at the Department of Fashion at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, which is where future designers learn to skillfully use drawing techniques – an indispensable tool in the process of shaping and formalizing expression, recording the process of thinking and creation. The program covers issues related to visual perception, the drawing craft in its broadest sense, and, in further exploration, its appropriate application in design processes.

Rożnowska graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, receiving a diploma with honors in painting in Professor Wł. Dudkowiak’s studio. Between 2002 and 2009 she worked with the Institute of Design at the Technical University of Koszalin. She received her doctorate degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań in the artistic field – fine arts, major – graphic design (2007). In 2014 she was conferred the postdoctoral degree in the same discipline, majoring in workshop graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań;

She was awarded the rector’s scholarship at the VSVU in Bratislava (1997–1998).

Rożnowska has held out a number of art workshops related to drawing, including at the Universidad de Granada, Minami -oguni, Ubuyama-mura, ASO in Japan and the Malta Festival in Poznań ,Kids Design Space in Wrocław, Obecność Galerii Działań [Presence of Galeria Działań] in schools in Warsaw.
